2020 JULAC Libraries Forum

Theme:  Open Access – the Crossroads

Venue:  The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology

The Joint University Librarians Advisory Committee (JULAC), will hold a staff forum, entitled “Open Access – the Crossroads” in The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology on 15th January 2020.

The libraries of the eight publically-funded Hong Kong institutions of higher education have a long history of collaboration through JULAC. The JULAC Libraries Forum provides a platform for JULAC library colleagues to discuss and share their experience and expertise on key issues and the latest developments in the library field.

In addition to the main theme of “Open Access – the Crossroads”, the 2020 JULAC Libraries Forum will also cover the following topics:

  1. Emerging technologies and digital services
  2. Learning strategies
  3. Learning spaces and collections
  4. Research support and data management
