Moving Forward with JULAC

JULAC would like to invite staff from the JULAC libraries to attend the first JULAC Libraries Forum "Moving Forward with JULAC" to be held February 13th 2009 at the Wang Gungwu Theatre, Graduate House, University of Hong Kong.

The JULAC Libraries Forum will be divided into two key segments. The first being presentations from the JULAC Directors on the current projects and future directions for JULAC.  After the presentations from the Directors there will be a panel session where JULAC staff can address questions to the JULAC Directors.

The second part of the JULAC Libraries Forum will be presentations from each of the eight JULAC libraries on the latest developments in their libraries.

After lunch participants will be able to tour the University of Hong Kong’s Main Library, Education Library, Lui Che Woo Law Library or Music Library.

Each JULAC library’s representative on the JULAC Libraries Forum Organising Committee will arrange registration for the JULAC Libraries Forum for their library. Participants must register before January 23rd 2009. There is no registration fee for participants, the JULAC Libraries Forum is free for staff from the JULAC libraries.

Please note this is a "green" conference and copies of the program and PPTS will not be printed and distributed to participants. If participants wish, they can print copies of the program and the PPTS from the JULAC website after February 7th 2009. http://www.julac.org/events/index.html
